Bryan took over the beach program in 2009, and has coached with Ducks Beach for 10 years. Bryan is a level 2 certified beach coach, and a level 3 certified indoor coach. For his work with the Ducks Volleyball Club, both indoor and outdoor, Bryan received the Volleyball BC Youth Development Coach of the Year Award in 2012, he also was awarded the a BC Community Sports Hero Award in 2013 and 2016 for his work with youth volleyball in the Tri-Cities. Furthermore, in 2005 he was named Volleyball BC High School and Club Coach of the Year. Bryan has vast experience with a wide range of athletes, in both beach in indoor volleyball.

Jordan is a level 2 indoor and beach certified coach who brings a tremendous amount of experience to the Ducks Beach program. As a player Jordan trained and competed as a member of Team BC Beach for a number of years. Jordan has been coaching for 20+ years, has considerable experience working with athletes of all ages and abilities, and has a successfully trained numerous athletes to the provincial championship medals. Jordan is an expert teacher and challenges athletes to reach their full potential.
Rob has played and coached elite volleyball for the last twenty years. As an indoor player, he competed at the college and university levels, winning a Provincial Championship with the Capilano College Blues before moving on to play for UBC’s varsity team. He also spent a year overseas playing professionally in the German First Division for the Konigs Wusterhausen Netzhoppers. As a beach player, Rob is a U24 provincial gold medal winner, and continues to compete in the Men’s Open division at Kitsilano Beach, placing 7th at the Clearly Contacts Open in 2014. Rob has a vast amount of beach coaching experience, and a passion for athlete development.
Jordan has a long history of competing and coaching at the highest level in our country. Jordan was a member of Team BC as a Setter for 2008, 2009 and 2010, and the represented Team BC as a Libero in 2012 and 2013 with the Canada Games Team (Bronze Medal). Jordan then went on to play with Douglas College for the 3 years, winning the 2011/2012 Provincial Championships, the finishing his career at Mount Royal University. In 2013/2014 he was selected Canada West Libero of the Year. Jordan is currently playing professional volleyball in Finland. Jordan competes and coaches beach volleyball, he has been a member of Team BC Beach as will as coached with Side Out Beach from 2010 to 2012. Jordan is a very knowledgeable and tactical beach coach, who enjoys working with youth and helping them develop.
Brendan has a tremendous amount of indoor and beach experience and knowledge, both as a player and a coach. Brendan played Team BC Indoor from U16 – U19 and Team BC Beach from U16-U18. As a member of the Alberta Golden Bears, he helped lead them to 2 CIS National Championships in 2014 and 2015. Brendan is student of the game and has a keen eye for technical and tactical details. He loves volleyball and brings out the best in the athletes he trains.
Alison is currently a member of the SFU Women’s Volleyball Team. Prior to that, she played club and high school volleyball for five years, with her teams medaling provincially. Ali competed with Team BC in 2013, earning a silver medal in the National Team Challenge. This past summer Ali had the opportunity to train and compete on our Canadian National Team. Alison trains and competes in the Open Beach Championships every summer. Ali loves volleyball and shares her passion and knowledge to younger athletes each and every training session.
Bailey is going into her third year playing NCAA Div 2 volleyball in San Francisco. She played BC Summer Games beach u17 in 2014, and at the Beach Western Canada Games U20 last year. She competes in the Women’s pro division at Kits Beach throughout the summer. She has coached Atomic for 5 years and Volleyball BC for 3. She actively works as a coach for RMVC at all levels. She was one of the coaches for the BC Summer Games Beach U17 team that won gold in 2014 and currently one of the 2016 U17 Summer Games Beach coaches. She looks forward to sharing her experience and competitive spirit, in order to bring players to the next level.
This is Nicole’s fifth year coaching Duck’s beach. She is a level 1 certified coach and has been coaching indoor for 6 years now. She is a Duck’s alumni, having played throughout high school. Nicole then went on to finish her career by playing 3 years at Douglas College. Nicole has a passion for volleyball and youth development, and coaching. She is the lead coach for the Ducks 12U program, and has a lot of experience in grass roots development and youth training.
